Verkada, one of the fastest-growing names in the commercial security space, needed a place to host their Midwest engineer certification series. They weren’t looking for a conference room. They were looking for a venue built for training, hands-on labs, live systems, and space for serious conversations about what makes security work.

Our Experience Center, In Action
Over three days, our Security Experience Center transformed into a full-scale training facility. Verkada ran three intensive certification courses, each with about 20 attendees, including a mix of field technicians, engineers, and system support professionals from across the Midwest. Some came for one course. Others stayed for all three.
This wasn’t surface-level content. These were deep dives with real system interaction, troubleshooting labs, and rigorous exams at the end of each course. This is how lasting expertise is built.
Learning for the Industry, And Our Team
Three of our own team members went through the training and came out certified in service, engineering, and technical support. That’s not just a feather in our cap, it’s another layer of capability for the clients we support every day.
But the bigger win? We helped make the industry better. By opening our doors and offering a space where people could come together for real, hands-on learning, we made room for the kind of progress that benefits everyone.
Why We Said Yes
When Verkada asked for a place to host their training, the answer came easy. We built the Experience Center to show clients how technology works before they invest. But from day one, we also envisioned it as a resource for the industry itself, a place where conversations can go deeper, skills can be sharpened, and manufacturers can deliver the kind of education their partners need.
