In our industry, most security systems get sold backward.
Something bad happens, an incident, a loss, a near miss, and suddenly there’s urgency. By the time it reaches procurement, the problem has already been broken down into a list of part numbers. Somewhere along the way, somebody decided that X number of cameras or card readers would make the issue go away.
This is how companies end up with overbuilt, overpriced, and underperforming systems. It’s also how they end up calling us later, asking why the problem still isn’t solved.
We built the Hoosier Security Experience Center to fix that.
A Space Designed to Solve, Not Just Showcase
The Experience Center isn’t a demo room. It’s a problem-solving lab.
It’s built for the people who actually live with the outcomes: facility directors, safety officers, IT leads, operations managers. When they step into the space, they don’t just see products. They see systems working together: access control tied to video surveillance, AI-driven alerts triggering automated lockdowns, and communication tools linked to emergency response platforms.
We didn’t design the space to sell hardware. We designed it to change the conversation.
Instead of asking “how many cameras do you want?”, we ask “what are you trying to prevent?” Then we show them what that solution could look like, with real equipment from trusted manufacturers, already live in the space.
Built to Represent the Real World
Everything in the Experience Center is integrated and built with the same technology we install in the field:
- Access Control from Verkada, Brivo, PDK (Pro Data Key), and Motorola’s Avigilon ALTA platform
- Video Surveillance featuring Avigilon ALTA, Avigilon Unity, Genetec, Digital Watchdog, Verkada, Eagle Eye Networks, Axis Communications, and Teledyne FLIR
- Gunshot and Weapons Detection using Shooter Detection Systems, HALO Smart Sensors, and ZeroEyes AI detection
- Environmental Monitoring through HALO sensors and Verkada, including air quality, vape detection, and abnormal noise triggers
- Intrusion Detection solutions from Bosch, Qolsys, Alarm.com, and Honeywell
- Mass Communication and Emergency Alerting using RAVE Safety, Motorola Wave Radios, and Alarm.com integrations
- A fully integrated Security Operations Center simulation, where clients can experience these systems working together in a real-time command environment
- AI and Automation capabilities layered across platforms, including video analytics, facial recognition, license plate recognition (LPR), object detection, system health alerts, and smart automation triggers
We don’t organize this space around product displays. We organize it around real-world threats and how to solve them with proven tech.
Real Reactions, Real Impact
The response from clients, large and small, has been consistent: they’re surprised by how much clarity the Experience Center brings to their project.
Especially when the problem is complex, seeing a system live and working in context turns abstract quotes into practical confidence. We’re not handing them a PDF. We’re showing them the solution, step by step.
What We Want You to Walk Away With
When someone visits the Experience Center, our goal isn’t just to impress them. It’s to give them a complete understanding of how we’re going to solve their problem and to earn their full trust in our ability to do it.
That’s how we do business. That’s how we build long-term partnerships.
